Job Details
Posts & Vacancies: Constable (Technical & Tradesmen): 9175 posts (9096 Male + 79 Female); Constable Pioneer Wing (Mason/Electrician): 20 posts (All India basis, Male only).
Eligibility: 10th Pass from a recognised board; trade-specific ITI/qualification for most posts. Age: 18–23 years for most trades; 21–27 years for Driver post, as on 01-01-2026. Relaxation: SC/ST +5 years, OBC +3 years, EXS as per rules.
Note: Constable (Tradesmen) vacancies are state/UT-wise — you MUST apply for the state where you hold a valid domicile certificate. Pioneer Wing posts are All India.
Selection Process: Physical Efficiency Test (PET) → Physical Standards Test (PST) → Computer-Based Test (100 MCQs, 2 hours, 0.25 negative marking) → Trade/Skill Test → Document Verification → Medical Examination (DME/RME).
