Post: Agniveer Vayu (Musician) under the Agnipath Scheme — 4-year service tenure in IAF Band.
Eligibility: 12th Pass in any stream from a recognised board. Musical proficiency and aptitude is mandatory (tested during selection). Only unmarried male candidates are eligible. Marriage during 4-year tenure results in discharge.
Age: 17.5 to 21 years (as per IAF guidelines for Agnipath).
Stipend/Salary: Year 1: ₹30,000/month | Year 2: ₹33,000 | Year 3: ₹36,500 | Year 4: ₹40,000 + Risk, Hardship, Dress, Travel Allowances. Seva Nidhi: ₹11.71 lakh on completion (contribution ₹5.02 lakh from Agniveer + matching from Government).
Selection Process: Online Written Test (STAR exam) → Adaptability Test → Physical Fitness Test → Music Ability Test → Medical Examination.
