SSR Eligibility: 12th Pass with Physics & Math, minimum 50% aggregate. MR Eligibility: 10th Pass with minimum 50% aggregate. Only unmarried candidates; marriage during 4-year service leads to dismissal.
Stipend: Year 1: ₹30,000 | Year 2: ₹33,000 | Year 3: ₹36,500 | Year 4: ₹40,000 + Risk/Hardship/Dress/Travel Allowances. Seva Nidhi at completion: ~₹5.02 lakh (Agniveer contribution; Government contributes matching amount separately).
Selection: Stage I – INET (computer-based exam; SSC 10+2 level for SSR, 10th level for MR) → Stage II – PFT + Written Exam + Recruitment Medical Examination. Stage I exam scheduled for May 2026.
