Post: Private Secretary – responsible for secretarial/stenographic assistance to Members of the ITAT bench, managing official correspondence, hearing schedules, and confidential records.
Eligibility: Bachelor's Degree from a recognised university + stenography speed of 100 wpm in English + transcription at 40 wpm (PC) + basic knowledge of Income Tax Act. Age: 18–30 years (approx.); GoI relaxation for reserved categories.
Salary: Pay Level 6 — Basic ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400 per month + DA (60%), HRA and other central government allowances. In-hand approx. ₹44,000–₹52,000/month.
Selection Process: Stenography Skill Test → Written Test (optional) → Document Verification.
