NICL Assistant Recruitment 2026 – 500 Posts in Public Sector Insurance
National Insurance Company Limited has released 500 Assistant (Class-III) vacancies for the 2026–27 recruitment cycle. State-wise posting with mandatory regional language test. Applications open 18 July to 7 August 2026.
Job Details
Post: Assistant – Class III (Clerical cadre) in NICL across India.
Eligibility: Bachelor's Degree (any discipline) from a recognised university. Age: 21–30 years as on 1 July 2026; SC/ST +5, OBC +3, PwBD +10 years. Regional Language: Must read, write, and speak the regional language of the State/UT applied for (tested via Regional Language Test – qualifying in nature).
Note: Recruitment is State/UT-wise. Candidates may apply for vacancies in ONE State/UT only. Multiple applications will invalidate all submissions.
Selection Process: Phase I – Preliminary Exam (27 August 2026) → Phase II – Main Exam (30 October 2026) → Regional Language Test → Document Verification → Medical Examination. No interview. Negative marking: 0.25 per wrong answer.
Salary: Basic ₹36,290 per month; Total CTC approx. ₹53,000 in smaller cities and ₹63,000 in metros (including DA, HRA, CCA).
