**Eligibility:**
- Education: 10th Pass / ITI / NAC from NCVT. Engineering Diploma/Degree also eligible.
- Age: 18–33 years as on 01-01-2026; relaxation: OBC-NCL (3 years), SC/ST (5 years), PwBD (10–15 years).
- Nationality: Indian citizens only (with limited exceptions per GoI rules).
- Medical Standards: Candidates must meet vision, colour vision, binocular vision, and general fitness standards per post category (A-2, A-3, B-1, B-2, C-1, C-2).
**Selection Process:** Computer Based Test (CBT) → Physical Efficiency Test (PET) → Document Verification → Medical Examination.

- Last Date (Extended): 09 March 2026
- Correction Window: 12–21 March 2026
**Application Fee:** ₹500 for General/OBC/EWS (₹400 refunded after CBT); ₹250 for SC/ST/Female/PwBD/EXS (fully refunded after CBT).
**Zone-wise Highlights:** Northern Railway (3,537), Western Railway (3,148), Central Railway (1,979) — highest vacancy zones.
